About nourish
Kim Crawfurd
International Board Certified Lactation Consultant
Hi there! I'm Kim, thanks for taking the time to check out my website, here is a bit about me........
I started out life as a children's nurse back in 2008, I loved singing and dancing whilst taking blood pressures, but soon realised that community work was where my heart lay, I qualified as a Health Visitor in 2013 and became passionate about family focused infant feeding, making it my professional focus over the next decade.

After I gave birth to my own daughter in 2014, I became a breastfeeding peer supporter for the ABM. I found this role hugely rewarding, successfully setting up voluntary groups and helping hundreds of families.

In 2021, I started studying to become an IBCLC, the highest qualification achievable in breastfeeding. 1000 hours of lactation support experience, 90 hours of lactation education and a 4 hour exam later, I breathed a huge sigh of relief and was absolutely delighted to have qualified and launched nourish IBCLC Lactation Consultancy.

My empathetic approach, experience, training and family centred care ensures you are listened to, cared about and I will work alongside you to support your needs.
